$50 for a gift, like $50 for dinner (tops) flowers are nice, but feigned thoughtfullness- ask Q, but worse comes to worse, (worst comes to worst?) you're pretty good with a necklace...wait a few years to try the 'we're broke, you know i love you, can we not spend money?' thing, cause that could result in cold and lonely nights if you try it too early lol, in the mean time, dream of those non-valentines days to come. good luck to the dog!
p.s. bitchin' podcast! could you, oh i don't know, unbind and ungag april for the next one though? ;)
